CEREMONY- Unveiling of bust (sculptured head) of Finesinger at Rosewood Training School as new Finesinger Building is dedicated. January 11, 1961

                        Finesinger Building at Rosewood

Postscript: Another Baltimore Sun article reports that Mrs. Finesinger donated a bust of her husband to the UM Psychiatric Institute at about the same time as the article above appeared. This is confusing. Neither bust has been located. Click on the following link. http://www.finesinger.com/cobb%20speaker%20at%20memorial.htm

The Finesinger building,  which was built to house and treat emotionally disturbed children hasn't been used for this purpose for many years. It is now occupied by Rosewood's administrative offices. Rosewood itself, which used to house thousands of the mentally retarded as well as smaller numbers of emotionally disturbed children, now has only about 200 patients spread out over 13 buildings.
